Teencam wins - C sqldatasource onupdating

This is a stored proc that gets executed by the datasource.

I have a feeling that it has something to do with Grid View not having the correct Primary Key (Domain Name), but I can't figure out why.

" Select Command="SELECT Domain Name, In Use, Domain Cost, TLD, Registrar, Expiration Date, Status, Privacy, Forwarding URL, Notes, Department Program, Program Contact FROM Domain List" Update Command="UPDATE Domain List SET In [email protected] Use WHERE Domain [email protected] Name" Delete Command="DELETE FROM Domain List WHERE Domain [email protected] Name" On Deleted="On Domain Deleted"" Select Command="SELECT Domain Name, In Use, Domain Cost, TLD, Registrar, Expiration Date, Status, Privacy, Forwarding URL, Notes, Department Program, Program Contact FROM Domain List" Update Command="UPDATE Domain List SET In [email protected] Use WHERE Domain [email protected] Name" Delete Command="DELETE FROM Domain List WHERE Domain [email protected] Name" On Deleted="On Domain Deleted" Besides, you could refer to the following code to learn crud operations in gridview.

The On Updating method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate.

This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

I need from my application execute this procedure and than get data by SELECT query.

The following code example demonstrates how to display data retrieved from a Microsoft SQL Server database in a Drop Down List control, and update the record using a Text Box control.Use the Updating event to validate parameter values before executing the query. For more information, see Script Exploits Overview.I'm using the auto generated edit feature of Grid View and the edit button appears, clicking it enters edit mode but making changes and clicking update does nothing. As far as I can tell On Row Editing triggers but On Row Updating does not. I have tested my Update Command on the SQL database directly and it works as intended.Unfortunately adding specific declarations for parameters doesn't resolve my issue and I have no need (right now) for custom formatting of the Grid View.
